Rewaco - well protected
Renowned for its Trikes, the Rewaco manufacturer, based at Lindlar, Germany, has got more products in its range. Under the trade name D*SIGN a special trailer is marketed.
Excalibur is available in S1 variant as well as a wider S2 version. With an internal width of 1,88 Metres the S2 can be used to transport two single motorbikes, one Moto-Trikes or a not too wide sidecar combination. The trailer is completely closed, the folding ramp makes loading very easy. To have a little extra room when loading the roof can be tilted up. Twin gas struts help lifting the weight. If loaded without being conected to a tow bar, Excalibur can be stabilised with outriggers wound down by handle.
S2 is available as model 1500, 550 kg empty weight and 950 kg max payload or as model 1800, 570 kg empty weight and permissible load of 1230 kg. As the side walls are relatively thin, bikes are better not leaned against these but must be tightly strapped down. 10 loops are enough for safe loading.
