GG - Cruso in Japan
In the meantime our friendly Japanese correspondent Hideo Hirano has given us deeper in-sights to his activities. He personally owns a sidecar combination that is based upon on a GG-Cruso, derived from a BMW R 850/1200 C of Swiss constructor Grüter + Gut, who in turn also is well known to our readers with his array of highly desirable Three- and Four-wheelers models.
Actually Hideo reports in his best command of English language, which he has learned some decades ago, that he alsways had liked to own a banking outfit. Unfortunately Japanese road and safety regulations wouldn’t allow this to happen. So Bike house ABE at Mattsuyama converted his delicate Cruso, and taking it a step further, tuning company Auto Stuff Suehiro improved its performance.
Standard teleforks and front wheel are retained whilst the rear 6.60 inch alloy rim is shod with a 195/45 R 17 tyre. Sidecar is the ABE C L featuring an auxiliary fuel tank holding 20 litres.
Even to those who can’t read Japanese characters, a visit to ABE website is well worth doing. Just click http://www.abez.jp
