HomeLine One from Hartmann Brothers

SideCar One in closed condition, stainless rail and coloured gel-coat is standard spec.

Sinsheim Sidecar Show "Faszination Motorrad" saw a new Hartmann brothers joint venture. After years of going separate commercial ways, both Falk and Horst Hartmann went together again to design a utility sidecar, HomeLine One. Falk, attending the Euro-Sidecar Rally 2008, had the idea to create a folding tent on top of a sidecar. For production both brothers founded the SideCarHome company.
With the assistance of Stefan Hirt, who is responsible for technical development, the unique chair was built in the Hartmann workshop onto a platform steel chassis. For further use, other than the tent body, a Euro I sidecar made by Ott can be utilised to make it a fine road outfit. Although at this moment "EuroLine One" is a bit of future planning.
It takes about five minutes for two to erect the tent from the inside of that un-folding sidecar. Stainless steel fittings, including front and rear outriggers make it a stable sleeper. Twin slatted frames and air-beds are standard spec. Foam mattresses are optional extras.
